Flint
River Ranch's Cat & Kitten food is a chicken and lamb meal formula that
is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures,
resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your
kitty. Protein is the most important ingredient in a cat's diet, and the
amino acids provided by the Chicken and Lamb Meal are the basic building
blocks of your cat's muscle, skin, coat, bone, blood and immune system.
The high quality Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid
for cats, in much higher levels than poultry by-products, which are
often found in most other cat foods. Taurine is an important element for
eye, heart, nervous and reproductive system health. Flint River Ranch's
fat source contains no Ethoxyquin and is naturally preserved by Vitamin
E. Further, low ash and magnesium are important in the prevention of FUS
(Feline Urinary Syndrome). Flint River Ranch's Feline Formulas have less
than 4.5% ash content and 0.08% of Magnesium. These promote low urinary
PH and help prevent FUS.
Contains No BHA or BHT; Contains No Ethoxyquin; No
Artificial Colors or Flavors; No By-products; Helps Prevent FUS; Chicken
Meal - highest grade for Taurine; Naturally preserved with Vitamin E.

Cats
are finicky eaters. Our tests show that besides flavor and aroma,
texture and shape are very important in determining cat food
palatability. Cats first smell their food; if it passes this test,
shape then becomes important because it determines the way it
feels and breaks apart in the cat's mouth. Fresh water should be
available at all times as your cat will drink more water when fed
dry food.
Young
kittens may be started on Flint River Ranch food by mixing
with a little warm water. Feed food dry as soon as the kittens
teeth are strong enough to chew hard food (8 to 10 weeks). Feed
kittens about 3 times a day - after 6 months twice a day.
Adult cats (1 year) can be fed once or twice a day; whatever keeps your cat
happy. Your cat should be looking for food when the next meal is
due. Teach them to eat at meal times. The amount your cat eats in
15-20 minutes is about the amount they should be fed at that meal.
Adjust the food as you notice increase or decrease in the animal's
weight.
Have fresh
water available. Visit your Veterinarian regularly!
